Now Dennis has managed to hit 40 comments on month of Dec ‘08 and as I promised to give away a True Blue Pei Profit Dot Com Fan award. Today, I am going to introduce two of Dennis Edell’s new blog, I hope this is a good surprise and reward? Dennis has been a very active commentator on my blog, as well as many others, moreover he is a “long term” advertiser on my blog, so he is definitely worth the mention here.

Before I go on rambling and introducing you guys to the two new interesting blog, Dennis Edell is the guy behind www.DirectWebSalesMarketing.com and anyone who owns a blog would probably have seen a trace of him. One of his new blogs is named after himself, Dennis Edell Dot Com and it is no different from blogs like JohnChow.com or GarryConn.com. No, I don’t mean he is a copycat, I mean its all about branding! One day I would love to start a BenPei.com as well…

Although this is a new blog, DennisEdell.com is my first choice out of the 3 blogs in terms of design and layout. One look and you know it is much more personal and branded in some sense. A dark blue purple like shade is cool and the logo adds a distinct feel to it. What I dislike or rather disagree is using the same blog theme for all 3 despite the change in colors. One big and simple suggestion is that, the business blog should get more professional while the other should get more personal. Now they all seem to be stuck on one middle point. For example, the personal blog should get really personal like including more photos or things that were accomplished recently, this way the readers are able to understand who Dennis Edell is better.

The second blog, EasyCashContests, is a fabulous idea because Dennis would seek opportunities to win cash online and share it with his readers so they can have some fun online as well. If you’re not making much money from blogging, why not give a shot at these contests? See what I told you about his whacky ideas?

Both DennisEdell.com and EasyCashContests.com made use of the ‘Popular Article’ section and they are placed right on the top widget. I would have to agree this with both my hands because they greatly increase readership and exposure for the more important posts that are intended to reach out to everyone. Also, I would recommend placing some widgets like MyBlogLog readers, BlogCatalog or Social Medias at the 3 footer widgets because they are going to make the blog more lively. I doubt users like to see “Under Construction” or things like that.

So much for my dislikes, now I think Dennis has a gift for writing or at least coming up with some good ideas. However serious a blog post should be, he never fails to add some fun elements in! Well thats what make blogging fun and special… Right? Trust me, try reading his blogs and you will feel that he is like a friend chatting with you in a cafe and not some unknown ramblings behind the virtual wall. By the way Dennis, if you’re reading this, I apologise for combining the review for two or three of your blogs together, because I feel they lack contrast. I don’t mean they don’t have great content, they do actually! My biggest tip or suggestion for you would be to make a bigger contrast for each or else they wouldn’t be any point starting a marketing blog as well as a personal blog.

P.S: Suggestion for DWSM, you should add in the threaded comment plugin since you have installed the top commentator. This greatly increases your number of comments and makes replying or commenting much much easier for everyone.
